I was asked to write a placed article in Today’s Catholic Teacher about how to help students apply nonfiction reading strategies to reading online. This article appeared in both the print and online version of the magazine.
I researched and wrote the proposed national handwriting and keyboarding standards, completing grades K-8 in 2012 and prekindergarten in 2014.
For the Children’s Hunger Alliance, I researched and wrote a white paper demonstrating the social and economic positive effects of expanding the School Breakfast Program in Ohio schools. I wrote and designed Ohio’s report for a national initiative supported by the Annie E. Casey Foundation, the Ford Foundation, and the Rockefeller Foundation called the Working Poor Families Project using data collected by Community Research Partners.
