I was asked to write a placed article in Today’s Catholic Teacher about how to help students apply nonfiction reading strategies to reading online. This article appeared in both the print and online version of the magazine.

Writing research

Researched relevant academic research articles, edited the articles for a teacher audience, wrote chapter introductions, and found appropriate cartoons. Second edition: added more articles about the Common Core State Standards and new achievement tests. For both editions, served as the editor through the page production process.

Spelling podcasts

Wrote and edited a series of podcasts on best practices in spelling instruction.
